We might sit face to face in an armchair or in front of a screen, or we might sit side by side on a bench or walk under a tree canopy. Wherever we’ll meet, I will offer you an attentive and authentic space. And together, we will explore whatever feels overwhelming, uneasy or confusing at the moment.

I will first invite you to tell me your story, the questions you carry and the struggles you encounter. We will go at your own pace and explore what it is you might feel at odds with or what gives rise to anxiety or depression, for example. During our conversations, I will also particularly pay attention to the stories that might have been overshadowed or dismissed, stories that might bring another perspective or enrich you. We will also look at all the systems you are part of and possibly influenced by or disconnected from. For example, your family, the society you live in, your background culture, the natural world… I will be curious about what it is that actually matter to you. And because sometimes words are not enough or not the best means to convey something,  I might suggest at times to use images and metaphors, or mindfulness and somatic practices. We might also use the written words, drawings, photography… if it feels helpful. I won’t apply any planned recipe but rather coconstruct it with you.

In outdoor sessions, nature will play a more central and active role. The simple fact of being outdoors has many positive benefits on our body and mind. For example, clients often comment on how it brings a sense of calm or increases their vitality.
Evolving in the elements will enable you to have a more embodied experience of your surroundings, by connecting you to your body and all your senses. The landscape or certain natural elements will facilitate the exploration of your feelings and memories, through holding metaphors and insights about your life, or moments of synchronicity. Nature might also stimulate the expression of your imagination and creativity and give you a stronger sense of place. Being with nature and experiencing its support is also a wonderful way to retrieve a forgotten relationship, and remember our place in relation to all of life. 

Whatever the setting, I’ll provide you with a space where you’ll be welcome to talk freely and will be met with warmth, interest and care.
My hope is to support you in making sense of your experiences and environment and in (re)discovering your resources, your abilities and your hopes. And by shedding a new light on your situation, you’ll retrieve a sense of freedom and choice, and a stronger connection to yourself and others.
