I trained in different approaches, because I value the diversity and richness of perspectives. But my core guides are humanistic, narrative and ecopsychological principles. And I see myself more as a co-researcher than an expert.
What can you expect?
Your therapeutic journey will be done in collaboration and in partnership with you. I will first invite you to tell me your story, the obstacles and struggles you encounter. We will go at your own pace to unpack your experience. Because human beings are not isolated beings, I will pay equal attention to your present and past relationships, as well as your place and relationship to the wider world (society, culture, natural world…). Talking and stories are a big part of the work, but to welcome all forms of expression, I might suggest at times to work with images, metaphors, visualizations or mind-body connection. I’ll provide you with a space where you can talk freely, while being supported in an empathic and exploratory manner, leaving room for the spontaneous and the unknown as well. My hope is to help you better understand your fears, struggles and environment, as well as your values, skills, hopes and knowledge. By shedding a new light on your situation, you can thus retrieve a greater freedom in your choices and a stronger connection to yourself and others.
