My life experience, as well as my multicultural background and various professional experiences in the cultural and translation fields inform my work as a counsellor.
I've worked with people from all walks of life at Waterloo Community Counselling, students from London South Bank University and asylum seekers and French-speaking migrants at the Multi-Ethnic Counselling Service. I've helped my clients deal with issues such as anxiety, low mood, life transitions, bereavement, low self-esteem and relationship problems, among other things.
I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients and I have a particular interest in imagination, grief and loss, life transition and identity.
I hold a diploma in counselling skills and a BACP-accredited diploma in therapeutic counselling.
I'm also a certified nature and forest therapy guide, a trained translator, specialised in subtitling, and I hold an MA in English language and culture.
I'm a member of the BACP and I abide by their code of ethics.
I'm fully insured and committed to continued professional development and I am in regular supervision, as required by the BACP.
